Inauguration Ceremony of Legal Aid Committee of Sandesh College of Law by Mrs Jyoti Malhotra – Principal of Sandesh College of Law

Vikhroli, Date 29 Dec 2022: Today the inauguration Ceremony of Legal Aid Committee of Sandesh College of Law, (Dnyan Prasarak Shikshan Sanstha,Vikhroli) was carried out in a a grandeur way by the Students of FY/SY/TY LLB with the support of the Legal Faculty and Principal Madam Jyoti Malhotra of the Sandesh College of Law.

Legal Aid Committee: Legal aid is the provision of assistance to people otherwise unable to afford legal representation and access to the court system. Legal aid is regarded as central in providing access to justice by ensuring equality before the law, the right to counsel and the right to a fair trial.

Law Aspirants Role: Law student of the Sandesh College of Law (Dnyan Prasarak Shikshan Sanstha Vikhroli) have been waiting for such apportunity to payback to the Society of their knowledge acquired and exposure to the professionalism. This opportunity is procured by the way of Legal Aid Committee of Sandesh College of Law due to the initiative of the Law faculties and the Principal Madam.

The Assistant Professor of The KC College of Law and Bright students of the same college alongwith Adv Prof. Rushikesh Sir carried out a quick session on the Legal Aid Committee formation and procedures for legal aid services very easy and memorable way.

All the Students of Sandesh College of Law spontaneously under guidance of Law Faculty took a Inaugural Legal Awareness March around the surrounding Area of the College. Distribution of the pamplets regarding the Legal Aid Committee of Sandesh College of Law were distributed into the public of the vicinity of the College and a quick interaction was also done by the Students regarding the Legal Aid.

The inauguration Ceremony of Legal Aid Committee Cell of the College was done by the honorable Chief Guest Upendra Sawant.
Chief Guest’s valueable Inaugural speech was a great inspiration to the students of the Legal Aid.

This Legal Aid Committee of Sandesh College of Law(Dnyan Prasarak Shikshan Sanstha, Vikhroli) added a diamond in the crown of the College.
